Where is the summary of the assessment arrangements for KS3?

Guide to KS3 Assessment


Year 7 and 8

AFL

  • Each rotation complete minimum of 1 AFL piece of work (Badger Assessed task or SC1)

  • Mark using golden mark sheet

  • Pupils transfer mark and target to front of book

  • Teacher records mark in mark book and on database


Tests

  • February test on first 3 modules of year

  • Record level in front of pupil book and on database

  • June test past SAT paper

  • Record level in front of pupil book and on database


Year 9

AFL

  • Each rotation complete minimum of 1 AFL piece of work (Badger 9 Assessed tasks or can use Year 7 and 8)

  • Mark using golden mark sheet

  • Pupils transfer mark and target to front of book

  • Teacher records mark in mark book and on database


Tests

  • October test on Year 7 and 8 work (start revising now)

  • Record level in front of pupil book and on database

  • End of January Mock exam

  • Record level in front of pupil book and on database
