Poor. It is a testament to the flexibility and dedication of the teaching staff and laboratory technicians that meaningful and successful lessons are executed in such poor conditions.  Many of the science laboratories are unsuitable for the requirements of modern science teaching. The layout and fabric of many of the laboratories make it difficult for flexible organization of group and individual work.  In some cases the cramped conditions place severe constraints on the type of practical work that can be carried out safely.
