Are any other rooms used for science teaching?

Yes.  With the introduction of setting in Year 8 Science classes, four groups do not go into three laboratories. One group needs to use and adjacent classroom for science lessons. The use of the classroom is done on a rotation basis, so that all groups have an equal time in the science laboratories.

There is also a significant percentage of science lessons being taught in rooms at Upper school. Two laboratories are unsuitable for large classes (AL1 and AL2)
